Lunch At Yahoo

Work has pretty much became the same routine for me everyday.
So for me here the wkends has really became very important. esp during the first and third weekend of every month. Because thats the only time that we will get off on sat. Sad right. I'll touch on the waterfall trip later. =)

But slowly things are starting to work out for me. The people at work have been very supportive. Although some of the friends that i've made here has left. because they were posted to other plants which are located at different parts of india. Thats the problem with india. Although its just one country, it is so big so going to another part of india is really so inconvenient.

So anw.. my colleges are really nice because there was once they were having a celebration farewell party. And they invited me along. so there were 8 of us. and we just left the company during lunch time, we got onto 4 bikes. and headed for a hotel for lunch. This was where i was kinda touched. cos out of the 8 of them, 6 of them are vegetarian but they purposely went to that particular hotel because they said that it was popular for its fish. and they kinda heard me complain before that i have not had fish in ages. So that was really nice. and i felt kinda bad. cos one of them was giving the treat to us. and they ordered one whole fish for me, and a dish of chicken to be shared among the 2 non-veg.*

*oh ya. thats the funny thing about india. unlike singapore where like went u go out to eat. or lets say u are taking a plane or something, you'll have to indicate your food preference like for example vegetarian or halal. But in india. they just assume that everyone is vegetarian, so u need to state your preference as a non-veg. so its like i have to keep emphasizing to the ppl here that im non-veg. yup and they dont call it meat here. they won't ask if u eat meat or anything. they will just ask. are u non-veg.

oh so anw. i felt really bad because, when i saw the bill practically half of it came from my fish. lol. which was not even touched by by the rest.
They ordered a whole pomfret curry for me and it was really good. =))
